A user who searches a product or would like to order a service opens an auction.
As Start price he gives the maximum price which he would like to pay. The bidder who delivers the lowest bid receives the surcharge and wins the auction.

In order to open an auction and for offering for an auction you must announce yourselves. Click on the menu point Register and confirm the general conditions. Afterwards you fill the indicated form with your desired user name, password, eMail etc.
After you have stored these data, it is sent to you eMail. You conclude your registration with a click on the link in this eMail. From now on you can use PushThePrice without restriction.
In PushThePrice no account data or credit card data are stored. The kind of the payment is fixed by the auction owner. The payment winding up is regulated by both parties (auction owner and auction winner).
I have forgotten my password what is to do? upwards
No problem. For safety reasons we do not send to you your old password by hand in eMail. You can generate to themselves a new password and allow to send. With this link you come on a site on which you give your email address. Alternatively you can use on the site for logging in the link Forgotten password?.
The system sends to you by button pressure immediately eMail with an a new generated password. Then with this password and your user you can log in and change your desired password in your user area of My Menu -> 'My data' again.
I would like to deactivate my user finally, how does this go? upwards
If you liked to use PushThePrice in future no more, you can deactivate your user finally. For this are some conditions necessary:
- For your user no auctions may own the status "actively" that calls all your auctions must be closed or be extinguished.
- With your users no bid on auctions of other users may have been deliveredwho are still active nowadays and your bid is the bid lowest at the moment.
- For your user no successful auctions (with at least one bid) which has come to an end less than 30 days ago may exist.
This serves the possibility of the auction owner and the auction winner to take up contact with the user other in each case.
To open an auction
How do I open an auction? upwards
As an announced user you click on in the menu strip on 'buying'. Are in your user area My Menu so you can alternatively on the menu point My Auctions -> Create new.
Now you must choose the main category for your auction (e.g., car), afterwards a subcategory (e.g., passenger car) and perhaps one more unter-subcategory (e.g., Ford).
Then the form will be able to give all relevant data for your request to you indicated in you. Fields with (*) are the duty fields.
Give an auction title, the state and a description.
Describe the desired article / service as accurate as possible!
Are of use, e.g.
- ISBN number by a book, furthermore year of publication, author
- Article-No. and Version-No. by articles
- Serial-No. or Production-Nr.
- Age
Fix a start price. The start price is the price which you would like to pay at most for the product / the service.
The bidder who has delivered at the end of the auction time lowest bid receives the surcharge.
Give furthermore which payment possibilities and dispatch terms you want to accept. The winding up of the auction (payment, dispatch) lies only with you.
Please, also note that the delivery of a bid as well as the opening of an auction is obliging.
Press afterwards 'preview' and have a look how the auction would be opened. Now they "can 'begin" this auction or 'change' once more.
What happens if the auction has run out without bid? upwards
Then you can begin this auction once more. Besides, you can change the term as well as the start price. Go for this in your user area My Menu on My Auctions -> Restart and select the auction which you would like to restart.
What happens if somebody has offered for my auction? upwards
As soon as the auction ends, the auction owner is informed by eMail about the exit of the auction. If the auction was successful, the data are sent to the auction owner and the user who has received the surcharge to the establishment of contact.
If the auction owner has accepted several payment kinds given he, both parties in a payment kind must agree. However, the winner of the auction to the auction owner must submit if he has given only one payment kind.
If both parties in a payment kind have agreed, thus occurs in principle only the payment and then the dispatch of the product.
Who takes over the forwarding expenses? upwards
By the opening of an auction you determine as an auction owner the dispatch terms. Besides, you have the choice between " offering takes over forwarding expenses (incl. possible COD charge) ", " auction owner takes over forwarding expenses (perhaps incl. COD charge) to at most x EUR and " forwarding expenses in description of the auction explains ". "
In the first case (" Offering takes over forwarding expenses ") the user who delivers an order on your auction takes over the forwarding expenses. The costs for packaging and dispatch incl. possible COD charges go to loads of the bidder. He may demand back these forwarding expenses not from you.
In the second case (" auction owner takes over forwarding expenses ") you take over as an auction owner the costs for the dispatch incl. possible COD charges. In the intended field he must brag up to which height he carries these costs. The bidder who receives the surcharge may open these costs on his delivered order.
In the third case explains (" forwarding expenses in description of the auction ") you can the forwarding expenses regulation in the auction description is nourishing, e.g., " product is fetched in the vicinity of 100 km at me ".
In addition, you can do for all three options the insured dispatch the duty, while you with " insured dispatch are a duty " to the heels place. That carries the add-on costs for the insured dispatch which also takes over the forwarding expenses.
Which payment kinds are there? upwards

Shop article gives to the user the possibility to offer own articles to the sales on PushThePrice.
A user who would like to buy this article can do the shop article in a new auction. How it works you can read in the next chapter.

You must convert the shop article only into an auction , because you would also like to buy PushThePrice so for a good price as possible.
You convert a shop article into an auction, while you at the announcement of the shop article in the upper right area the button Use Shop Article as template click.
All data of the shop article are automatically taken over in the auction-preview. You must only even begin the auction.
Then the supplier of the shop article is asked by eMail to deliver a bid on your auction.
How can I change a shop article? upwards
In your user area My Menu you see under the menu point My Shop Article -> Change all your shop articles change.
Look in the list for the shop article which you want to change and press behind the desired shop article the suitable button "change".
By the change of a shop article the usual form is indicated you to the input of the data. You have again the possibility of the preview for the release of the shop article.
A change of the category is not possible at the moment!

Import shop article nach oben
With the import function (in your menu My Menu -> My Shop Article -> Import) you can import shop article which you would loke to offer via file into PushThePrice. The CSV file (comma separated file) can be created manually, via excel or by export from your online shop system.
An example of such a file can be dowloaded here.
The structure (columns) of the CSV file is defined as follows:
1. Column: Your article number, max. 15 characters
Example: 12345
2. Column: Category, of PushThePrice, 9 characters, overview of all categories
Example: 400002001
3. Column: title of article, max. 30 characters
Example: my article
4. Column: article description, min. 100 characters, HTML is allowed expect of links
5. Column: price in Euro
Example: 4.56
6. Column: internet address of the picture, empty if no picture available
Example: http://www.PushThePrice.de/uploaded/keinbild.gif
The picture does not contain an internet address. Your are responsible for the copyright. Add a remark for the copyright to the article description if you are not the owner of the copyright
7. Column: shipping costs in Euro

8: Column: condition 1=new|2=used or new|3=Demo article or new
Example: 1
The first row is used for the title of the columns and will not be imported.
After you have selected the file and clicked on the button "Preview", the file will be read. All shop article without errors, will be shown in the table. For each errornour article an error message will be shown.
You should correct the errors in your file and after that reimport the file again to by using the "Preview" button again.
Are you happy with the preview, you need to select the file again and to click on the Button "Import". After the import is finished, the number of imported shop article is shown and you can see all your shop articles in your My Menu with menu point My Shop Article -> Show.
To deliver a bid
How can I deliver a bid? upwards
If you liked to sell something with PushThePrice, you must deliver a bid - namely on the auction in which the article is searched which you would like to sell.
In addition you can put your articles to be sold as a shop article. More in addition you get to know in the chapter What are shop articles?.
To be able to deliver a bid, you must be an announced user. Also note you please that the delivery of a bid as well as the opening of an auction is obliging.
The bidder who has delivered at the end of the auction time the lowest order receives the surcharge.
1. To examine the bid
Indicate yourselves the auction for which you would like to offer. Click on the button 'Underbid' and you reach in the bid window. Give your bid and click on the button 'bid examine'.
Your bid may be so high at most like under 'at most' given. The maximum bid price is calculated from the last bid minus the bid step. If no bid was still delivered, the start price is the maximum bid.
An automatic reduction of the bid does not take place. The fact that is called that the bid given by you becomes effective immediately.
2. To confirm the bid
On the following site you must deliver your bid with the button 'to bid for' confirm. Now it is checked once more whether you may deliver a bid whether the bid is not too high, etc.
If the bid is accepted, you receive on the site a confirmation and eMail.
With the delivery of your bid you expressly explain, that you
- the product standing to the auction or service
- with the described qualities or improve
- will sell for your bid price or explained,
The delivery of a bid is obliging and obliges to the sales, if you have received the surcharge at the end of the auction!
The delivered bid price gets on as a final price including the respective legal value added tax.
Description
How high may my bid at most be compared with the present bid?

Your bid may be so high at most like under'at most' given. The maximum bid price is calculated from the last bid minus dem Step of bids. If no bid was still delivered, the start price is the maximum bid.

Yes. If you indicate an auction yourselves, you can observe this auction by click on 'This auction' in your so-called Watchlist take up. You see their Watchlist in your user area My Menu under Other Auctions -> Watchlist.
How can I look for an auction? upwards
There are different possibilities after auctions to look:
- An easy search
You give on the start site in the field 'Search' the concept, select perhaps a category and press the badge 'searches'.
- Enlarged search
You press the start site on the link Advanced search and give the parameters for your search in the indicated searching form.
All in the following performed parameters are with one AND are tied together, i.e. if you must give more than one parameter all parameters apply with it the auction in the list of results is performed.

- You can put the sign only to auctions with pictures
- You can put the sign only to auctions with at least one bid

You want to see all auctions of a category? Then you select left on start site the category.By choice of an other subcategory in the next window you can limit the indicated auctions.

How do I get to know from new auctions? upwards
With the help of the info mail you can be informed by eMail if in the well-chosen category a new auction was opened. Thus you miss no new and for you relevant auction.
Thus you define your search:
Change in your user area My Menu and choose from the menu the menu point Other Auctions -> Infomail.
Choose for search 1, 2 or 3 first the uppermost category, then click on the button-> -> and choose the 1-st subcategory. Click then on the button -> and choose the 2-nd subcategory. Press afterwards the button to memories.
Example:
If you want a eMail for all new auctions in the category car and to all subcategories thus you define car -> everything -> everything. The choice of everything -> everything -> everything signifies: no search.
To administer an auction
Can I change an auction? upwards
You can change an auction or extinguish, as long as still no bid delivered.
In your user area My Menu you see under the menu point My Auctions -> Change all your auctions active nowadays which have still received no bid and are changeable therefore.
Look in the list for the auction which you want to change and press behind the desired auction the suitable button "change".
By the change of an auction the usual form is indicated you to the input of the auction data. You have again the possibility of the preview for the release of the auction.
By the change of an auction starting point and end time point of the auction is put automatically a new, i.e. the auction begins from now on and lasts so long as you have given it under duration (e.g., 30 days)
A change of the category is not possible at the moment!
Can I extinguish an auction? upwards
You can change an auction or extinguish, as long as still no bid became delivered.
In your area My Menu you will find under menu My Auctions -> Delete all actual active auctions, which have not received a bid and therefore can be deleted.
Look in the list for the auction which you want to extinguish and press behind the desired auction the suitable button "extinguish".
With the extinguishing of an auction no security query is indicated!
Where do I see my auctions which run nowadays? upwards
In your user area My Menu you can choice the menu point My Auctions -> Active. Are listed among other things the number of the bids and the present price.
Where do I see my auctions for which was offered? upwards
In your user area My Menu you can do yourselves by choice of the menu point 'My auctions - successful' all your auctions allow to register, they are closed and on them a bid was delivered.
You see among other things the surcharge price, the status and can deliver on receipt of the product / to execution of the service an assessment for the bidder.
You can step here with a click on 'eMail' with the auction owner in contact. Here also you can deliver after payment entrance assessment for the auction owner.
Under the menu point My Auctions -> Ended you see closed auctions on the orders were delivered as well as closed auctions on which no order was delivered.
Where do I see my closed auctions for which was nothing offered? upwards
In your user area My Menu you can choice the menu point My Auctions -> Restart to show all auctions on which no bid was deliverd.
Under the menu point My Auctions -> Ended you see closed auctions on which bids were delivered as well as closed auctions on which no bid was delivered.
Where I see the foreign auctions which I have won? upwards
You can in your user area My Menu under the menu point Other Auctions -> Knocking downs all auctions allow to indicate, for you the surcharge . You can step here with a click on eMail with the auction owner in contact. Here also you can deliver after payment entrance assessment for the auction owner.
Can I been able to close an auction which has received an order prematurely? upwards
Untimely closing of an auction is not supported, however, little sense, there just during the last hours / minutes often does also still bids delivered (surprise effect).
Therefore you would maybe miss an even better bid.
A tip for "impatient":
Open the auction first of all with a shorter term.
If a bid is delivered do not need to wait long.
If it concerns a rarer article and was delivered in the short period no bid, then you should "restart" the auction (auction a new start) and besides, a longer period choose.
Assessments / questions
Where can I deliver an assessment? upwards
As an auction owner you can value the winner of your auction. You should do this on receipt of the product / execution of the service in your user area My Menu under the menu point 'My auctions - successful '.

Can I put to the auction owner a question? upwards
Yes, you can put a question about an auction or about a profile of a user.
If you indicate an auction, you can give after the click on 'question about the auction' your question and send to the auction owner. You eMail address is not published .
If you let indicate the profile of a user so you can put after the click on the link 'question about the profile' to the user a question.
All users see questions and answers to an auction below the auction!
Questions and answers to a profile see only the user who has sent the question and the user who has sent the answer!
I have received by eMail a question. How can I answer to this? upwards
In your user area My Menu you can display under the menu point My Data -> Questions all questions and answers which you have sent or have received. Click beside the question on the link 'answer' around to a question to answer. Request do not send back the answer as eMail! An answer to an answer is not possible. The user who has put the question first must put a renewed question.
Technical problems
Although I have logged in the Login screen comes always. Why? upwards
PushThePrice uses for logging in so-called Cookies. A Cookie is a small file in which your user's formations on your computer are stored. Cookies are harmless.
If the abovementioned problem at the work with PushThePrice appears you must inform your Internet browser (e.g., Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, net cape) that PushThePrice is a sure site and/or you accept Cookies in general.
Go forward for it as follows:

1. Select in the menu of "extra" the option Internet options.
2. You can change their settings for Cookies on the tab Data protection.
3. Click on the button Standard or shift the scroll bar to another setting than " All Cookies block ".
4. Click on OK.
Mozilla Firefox:
1. Select in the menu of "extra" the menu point settings.
2. You can change their settings for Cookies on the tab Data protection.
3. Activate in the segment Cookies the controlling small box " Cookies accept ".
4. Click on OK.
Netscape:
1. Click in the menu "Treatment" on settings.
2. In order to change your settings for Cookies you click in the segment Data protection on Cookies.
3. Choose all Cookies activate.

To raise the user friendliness of PushThePrice, the menus were implemented in the user area My Menu with helping evon JavaScript. If JavaScript is not activated in your Internet browser, an alternative menu with which you can also work as well as the tip appears in red, JavaScript to activate. Below point is described how you can activate JavaScript in your Internet browser.
How can I activate JavaScript in my Internet browser? upwards
